Master of Athletic Training
In May 2025, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University will offer a two-year post-baccalaureate graduate program for qualified students.
Students with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., exercise science) will be able to apply directly for admission to the MAT program. MAT graduates will become immediately eligible to take the board of certification exam.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ is a national leader for students passing the CAATE Board of Certification (BOC) exam on the first attempt, which is required to be a certified athletic trainer. Our athletic training undergraduates have built an outstanding 94% BOC exam pass rate in the past 10 years.
Our student employment rate is equally impressive. The percentage of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ students who secure jobs as an athletic trainer within six months of graduation is 82%, with the remaining 18% successfully finding employment in other job sectors.

Complete 12 rotations from 20+ partnering clinical sites, including colleges, high schools, sports medicine clinics and general clinics.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s professors are practicing clinicians who value hands-on learning. Our first-year cadaver dissection course gives valuable insights on the body. Choose a specialty certification, like manual therapy or CPR/AED instruction.
