On Wednesday, October 10, Rev. Gail Simonds will present her lecture, “The Bible and Homosexuality: Queering the Good Book.” The presentation begins at 7 p.m. in Callen Conference Center.
On September 20, ߲ݴý University kicked off a celebration of 125 years of growth and prosperity, and fittingly, GSL began work on its latest service project: a community garden located right on campus.
Fourteen ߲ݴý University students have been selected as 125th Anniversary Ambassadors.
These students will assist with publicity efforts throughout the University’s 125th anniversary year, with special emphasis on publicity to the ߲ݴý student body.
Anniversary Ambassadors were nominated by faculty and selected by an anniversary committee.
All who share in the pride and commitment to ߲ݴý University have a wonderful opportunity this year to reconnect with friends, faculty, and staff as the University celebrates its 125th anniversary.
Anniversary events and activities will occur throughout the year on campus, across Nebraska, and beyond, keeping with the theme, “125 Years Anew.”
A local “Cameron Effect - Seven Acts of Kindness” movement will kickoff Tuesday, September 11 with a presentation that honors the memory of a former ߲ݴý student killed by a drunk driver.
߲ݴý University’s Elder Gallery will open with a five-week exhibition featuring the people and places of Africa as seen through the lens of photographer Betty Press.
