Eight ߲ݴý University students and alumni have been accepted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Medicine through the early decision program.
This year’s early admission pool at UNMC accepted 50 students from across the country with ߲ݴý current students and recent graduates making up more than 15 percent of the pool.
The biochemistry and molecular biology student from Omaha took lessons learned in her ߲ݴý classrooms to the labs of the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she was one of five ߲ݴý students accepted into the medical school’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP).
When Quentin Timblin first came to ߲ݴý University, he had his heart set on studying chemistry. Fast forward four years and he’s studying abroad in Argentina and thinking about medical school.
Eight ߲ݴý University seniors have been named to the 2018 Homecoming Court. Students were nominated by campus organizations and selected based on interviews.
