When students return to ߲ݴý University on August 23, campus for the most part will look much like it did when they left in May. But summer was anything but quiet.
New theme houses were spruced up, a new outdoor track was built, new administrators got up to speed on their new responsibilities, and professors plotted out new ways to teach their courses.
The Board of Directors of the William Randolph Hearst Foundation has awarded ߲ݴý University a grant of $100,000.
The funds will be added to the existing William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund at ߲ݴý, bringing the contributions to the Hearst Fund to $300,000.
Dr. Fred Ohles, president of ߲ݴý University, awarded degrees to nearly 430 undergraduate and graduate students during ߲ݴý University’s 121st annual commencement held Saturday, May 15.
Krahn worked with University Minister Pauletta Lehn to organize a health kit assembly, scheduled for noon on Sunday, February 7 at First United Methodist Church, located just west of campus.
Last year’s presidential election was the first time ߲ݴý senior Laurel Johnson could vote. In January she will head to Washington, D.C. to work in the house occupied by the man she voted for.
