ALERT: Scheduled network maintenance

CSIT has scheduled a maintenance operation on the Omaha campus firewall for this Friday (11/6).
Starting at 10:00pm on Friday, CSIT will be installing an update to the firewall firmware recommended after a recent security audit. The installation process will involve backing up the current firewall configuration, downloading the new firmware version and rebooting the firewall to load the new firmware. While the firewall is rebooting we will expect an interruption of Internet connectivity. This interruption is expected to last no longer than 30 minutes and is likely to be considerably less.
