Innovation and Entrepreneurship Degree

Innovations—and innovative new companies—are about capitalizing on fresh ways to solve challenging problems in any field.

߲ݴý University supports future innovators and creators with an academic program unlike any other in the state. While other universities’ programs stay inside traditional business departments or business schools, ߲ݴý’s innovation and entrepreneurship degree is more dynamic—with the ability to move in and out of those expected boxes.

Students working in any discipline may choose an innovation and entrepreneurship major to capitalize on their boldest ideas and approach all subjects with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Innovation and entrepreneurship majors choose from five focus areas.

  • Business, marketing and sports
  • Creative design and the arts
  • Policy and justice
  • Science and technology
  • Sustainability and the environment

The Innovative and Entrepreneurship Program is made possible by the generous donation from alumnus Philip S. Mullin. See ߲ݴý unveils first of its kind innovation and entrepreneurship program.

“This program is where students get the follow through, the help and advice they need to learn how to talk to a banker, or go out and find a lawyer. It’s the place where we teach those basics of being an entrepreneur.”
