- Complete EDUC courses (EDUC, 1010, 2050, 2060, 2850, and SPED 2070)
- Meet required assessments as presented in classes
- Establish and maintain GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Pass PRAXIS CORE Basic Skills (reading, math, and writing)
- Complete TEP application
- Complete TEP interview and dispositions survey
- Provide evidence of any criminal conviction that would prevent teacher certification
- Academic Analysis Review Check by education advisor

- Academic Analysis Check for minimum 3.0 GPA
- Lesson Plan assessed by NDE formative assessment tool
- Field Experience logs and evaluations meets 100 minimum log hours
- Provide evidence of any criminal conviction that would prevent teacher certification
- Attend student teaching meeting a minimum of 1 semester prior to placement
- Registration of 7-14 credit hours of clinical practice teaching
- Registration in student teaching seminar

- Minimum of 16 weeks of student teaching in gradual release to full classroom teaching. Hours may be split between two placements

- Meets all graduation requirements for degree and teacher certification
