߲ݴý University Awards Degrees

Dr. Fred Ohles, President of ߲ݴý University, awarded degrees to approximately 500 undergraduate and graduate students during ߲ݴý University’s 124th annual commencement held Saturday, May 18.

The Honorable John M. Gerrard delivered the commencement address, “Follow Your Passion, Serve Others, Do the Right Thing.” He was also awarded a Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.

A Honorary Doctor of Law degree was awarded to Robert B. Harris, retired President/CEO of MDS Harris.

Students who were awarded the Gold Key Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average during their college career included Ashlyn Lackore, Aurora, Jami Pritschau, Firth, Laura Booton, Lincoln, M. Kristin Ness, Lincoln, Paul Snyder of Scottsbluff, Loreen Kersey, Seward, and Clayton Damme, Talmage. Students who received the Silver Key Award for maintaining a 3.99 grade point average during their college careers were Joseph Menousek, Gretna, Hannah Johnson, Johnstown, Taryn McDowell, Ravenna and Lindsey Jones, Lincoln.

Other honor graduates are designated below with highest distinction (3.93 or higher GPA), high distinction (3.86-3.92 GPA), and distinction (3.80-3.85 GPA).
