It’s a question college students get asked again and again. While some have eager answers, some don’t have everything figured out just yet. And that’s perfectly fine—even advantageous. College is about exploring possibilities.

Becoming engaged on campus is a great way to expand on current passions, discover new interests and enter fulfilling communities. ߲ݴý’s nearly 70 active student organizations include academic honoraries, social justice clubs, faith-based groups, international exchanges, intramural sports teams and more. We also welcome proposals for new organizations.

߲ݴý’s Greek life is geared toward academic excellence, community service and belonging. Members of our three fraternities and three sororities comprise nearly 20% of our student body and are highly accomplished. The all-sorority cumulative GPA is 3.57, and the all-fraternity cumulative GPA is 3.47. Students involved in Greek life are active all over campus—in their academic programs, in the creative arts, in athletics and in leadership positions across many student organizations.

߲ݴý creative arts also provide a way for students to engage with their interests and find community. Our Theatre Department hosts auditions for fall performances during Prairie Wolves Welcome, and our Music Department welcomes new students to participate in several ensembles. Both departments regularly provide performance opportunities for non-majors.

Finally, the Wesleyan Entertainment Board (WEB) is a student-led organization that hosts weekly social events, ranging from glo-paint dance parties and live concerts to craft nights and video game tournaments. The community events are always free for students and are a great way to meet new friends. WEB also hosts events off-campus on weekends—like axe throwing, miniature golfing and bowling—to help students explore Lincoln.

Your student can make the most of their campus experience by attending ߲ݴý’s Involvement Fair on September 11, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. on Abel Commons. That’s where they can get an up-close look at everything this amazing campus community has to offer.
