Faculty and staff will be seen by the nurse or physician for:

• Initial treatment (not for chronic medical care or a prolonged condition);

• Referral by the Human Resource Office of an on-the job injury;

• Wellness and preventative services (e.g., blood pressure checks, throat cultures, weight checks);

• Minor treatments of non-work related illnesses which will save the employee’s time otherwise requiring treatment at an off- campus facility. Services are for employees only, not for dependents.
