Smoking Policy
º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ recognizes that tobacco smoke and e-cigarette emissions are hazards to the health of the University community. To protect the health of the University community, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ prohibits smoking, vaping or e-cigarette use, and smokeless tobacco use within any University building or athletic facility. Designated smoking areas are next to cigarette containers located outside of campus buildings. This policy applies to vehicles owned or leased by the University.
Students, faculty, staff, and visitors to º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University are included under this policy. All members of the University community share in the responsibility for adhering to and enforcing this policy. Non-compliance will be addressed in the same way as other policy violations. Students’ or employees’ concerns about their treatment under the policy will be handled through existing resolution processes.
