Wendy Waugh, PhD was named º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University's dean of graduate and adult programs. Waugh comes to º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ after three decades at Chadron State College where she served in a variety of roles, including dean of graduate studies and the school of business, math and science, department chair of the business academy, and professor of business.
As dean of graduate studies at Chadron, Waugh was responsible for the general oversight, accreditation, and assessment of graduate programs. Waugh's role at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ will be play a critical part in growing the university's adult student populations. She will report to the provost and oversee all existing graduate programs as well as the development of new programs.
Waugh earned bachelors degrees in secondary business education and management, electronic data processing from Wayne State College; an M.S.E. degree from the University of Nebraska Kearney; an M.B.A. from Chadron State College; and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minn.
She began her work at the end of September.
