Two new full tuition transfer scholarships have made it possible for two Omaha metro area women to attend º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University.
The scholarships — named the Archway Scholarship and the Advantage Scholarship — are part of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s partnership with area community colleges in order to expand opportunities for transfer students.
Robyn Stover of Elkhorn and Jenifer Skokan of Council Bluffs have each been awarded full tuition scholarships to attend º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s Omaha program. Stover, a graduate of Metropolitan Community College, was awarded the Archway Scholarship. This scholarship covers her tuition while she pursues a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Skokan, a graduate of Iowa Western Community College, has been awarded the Advantage Scholarship. This full tuition scholarship is awarded to the top candidate from a pool of applicants who plan to enroll at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s Omaha Bachelor of Business Administration Program.
In addition to the Advantage and Archways scholarships, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ is awarding Bridge scholarships, which are $1,000 scholarships that will be given to eligible transfer students to the Omaha programs.
º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s Omaha Advantage Program offers working adults the opportunity to earn degrees and certificates in project management, organizational communication, nursing and business administration. Classes are held at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s Omaha site at 11815 M Street.
