߲ݴý University is one of the best colleges in the Midwest, according to the Princeton Review, which released its annual best colleges list on August 18.
߲ݴý was named among 158 colleges in the Princeton Review’s “Midwest region” category. The schools are not listed in a ranked numerical order.
The Princeton Review’s college rankings are entirely based on surveys of college students who rate their schools on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences. Students were asked about their professors, school services, campus culture and other facets at their schools.
߲ݴý students celebrated preparation for post-graduate academics including medical school, graduate school and law school placement. Students ranked highly the individualized attention they receive from their professors.
“Once I declared my major, I became part of a family,” said one student. “I know my communication professors better than I knew the teachers at my small, hometown high school.”
Students also hailed the popularity of campus events including theatre productions, concerts, sporting events and Greek-sponsored activities. Students also recognized the university’s work to increase diversity and inclusion.
“It’s a small community much like a large family where it’s easy to make friends and feel accepted,” said one student.
The “Best in the Midwest” category includes colleges in 12 states including Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The complete rankings for ߲ݴý can be found on the
