Lindi Johnson of McCook has been named the inaugural winner of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s Full Tuition Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Scholarship.

Johnson was honored at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ on March 29 during the PTK-º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Scholarship Event. PTK is an honor society of two-year colleges, including community colleges whose students excel academically.

Johnson is a student at Mid-plains Community College and a graduate of McCook High School. She is the outgoing PTK Vice President of Nebraska, serving as a regional officer for the Kansas/Nebraska PTK region.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University awards one competitive Full Tuition PTK-º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Scholarship, which provides the cost of tuition up to three years. º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ also offers the PTK-º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Recognition Scholarship to all eligible students.

Johnson will attend º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ next fall and will pursue a degree in music education.
